Laura Underhill is a Funds Tax Partner at the London office of Clifford Chance, specialising in tax matters relevant to the private capital industry. She advises fund managers and investors across a wide range of asset classes, including private equity, debt, infrastructure and real estate. She has a particular focus on the tax aspects of the formation of private funds, private capital secondaries transactions, investment structuring, carried interest/executive co-investment schemes, fund financing, investments into private funds, and asset manager M&A covering both structuring and the drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation. Laura advises on UK tax but her practice also includes a strong international element.
