Christopher is a partner in the Private Funds team at Macfarlanes, where he advises private capital fund sponsors across a broad range of asset classes, including private equity, credit, venture capital, and secondary capital.

He has extensive experience in secondary transactions, regularly advising purchasers and GP clients on a variety of matters such as GP-led single asset investments, LP portfolio transactions, fund-level liquidity solutions, recapitalisations, group restructurings, and sponsor stake sales.

In addition, Christopher plays a key role in structuring and implementing carried interest, co-investment, and other executive incentive schemes, as well as corporate governance arrangements for private fund sponsors.

He is frequently sought after to advise institutional LPs on their primary investment programmes, co-investment operations, and bespoke management arrangements with sponsors.

Christopher is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners, a frequent contributor to industry conferences, and has previously served on Invest Europe’s Legal and Regulatory Affairs Working Group.
